Concrete Sand
Concrete sand, as with most mortar sands, is crushed at the quarry and then washed.
During the process, the dirt is washed away and any large rocks are removed.
Concrete sand is a great option for any project requiring clean, graded sand.
It has a wide range of uses, including:
- Bedding pipes.
- Base material between a vapor barrier and a concrete slab.
- Installing paving stones for walkways or patios.
- Base layer and leveling medium for above ground pools.
- Traction sand for roads and sidewalks.
- Mixing with topsoil and mulch to create a base for planting lawns.
